If the trojan infects a computer it will copy itself to files as well as creating registry entries so that it can begin during startup.

The trojan will then attempt to download files to the infected computer from remote locations. Generally it will download further malware onto the computer, or programs such as backdoors, keyloggers etc, for the purpose of obtaining private information and other personal data.

Trojans can operate in the background, without the user being aware. Always scan your PC on a regular basis.

Dfdoor is a backdoor affecting versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system.

Backdoors operate by opening an “backdoor” to the infected computer. Once this happens, data can be transmitted from the infected computer to remote locations. Further malware can also be downloaded onto the infected PC, including: keyloggers, spyware and other harmful programs.

Backdoors are very dangerous because they allow for hackers etc, to obtain private user data, including passwords, login information, banking details, private correspondence, images and much more. Backdoor programs can operate on the infected PC in stealth mode, so most users will not be aware there is a problem.

Scan your PC regularly to ensure it is free from viruses, spyware, malware, trojans, backdoors and more.
