Slegon is a worm affecting all versions of the Microsoft Windows operating systems.
This worm is very similar to most others in that it spreads by copying itself to removable drives on the infected computer.
On infected computers, the worm will create a file in the system folder called “logon.exe”. The worm will also create various registry keys to start the exe file on bootup.
Autorun files will be copied to the removable drives. Autorun files have the ability to automatically run when the drive is accessed.
Since this worm also has the ability to download files to an infected computer, this can lead to further malware and increased security risks. It is advisable to scan for this worm immediately.
