W32.Mibling is a worm affecting all versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system.
This worm can spread via instant messaging software. Once a computer is infected, it has the ability to open a back door, to download further malware or for stealing of data.
This worm copies itself as various files related to Microsoft Word. It then infects other files in the Office folder. The worm will also create various registry keys to start at boot time, as well as for running as a service and lowering security settings.
