Donbot is a trojan affecting all versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system.
Trojans are programs that secretly operate in the background with the user unaware. Trojans can also open backdoors and allow for the installation of further malware.
The Donbot trojan will add various registry keys to infected computers. It will also copy itself to the files: sysmgr.exe and msvcrt2.dll in the system directory.
This trojan uses infected computers for the purpose of sending out spam emails.
