A new worm is currently affecting all versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system. This worm acts as a mass mailer and grabs email addresses from infected computers. As with most modern worms, it spreads by copying itself to removable media and hard drives on infected computers.
The worm will email itself to addresses harvested from infected computers. It can also open a back door and act as a keylogger. The worm will create the following files in the system folder: vxworks.exe, qnx.exe
The worm will create various registry keys and will infect the explorer.exe file. It can log keystrokes and will save them as drm.ocx in the Windows directory.
This is quite a nasty worm and should be removed immediately if you think you are infected.
