Hackers have broken into Sarah Palin’s Yahoo email account and posted many of the messages and email addresses of Palin’s family and friends to other sites across the Internet.

Screengrabs and what appears to be a full listing of her email contacts have been posted on the web, including on WikiLeaks, raising concerns about the vulnerability of information in the official emails sent on the private address.

“This is a shocking invasion of the (Alaskan) Governor’s privacy and a violation of law. The matter has been turned over to the appropriate authorities and we hope that anyone in possession of these emails will destroy them,” the McCain campaign said in a statement.
